The Democrats gained 31 seats in the House taking control of the house and the Republicans became the minority party.
Americans expected Democrats to end American military involvement in Iraq when they won control of Congress.

"We're going to take back the country for the American people". "If indeed it turns out the way that people expect it to turn out, the American people will have spoken, and they will have rejected the course of action the president is on."
The Democrats once again in the Presidential election of 2008 lied their way to office. President elect Obama said he would end the Iraq war in 16 months of being elected, Neither the Democratic President Obama or the 2006 Democratic House of Representatives have not done what they were elected to do.
I wonder if Americans will fall for the lies in the next election? It would be utter stupidity not to see it coming.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also quietly agreed to strip out a provision of the $100 billion funding bill for Iraq that would have required then President Bush to seek congressional approval before launching a new war on Iran. A permission a Republican congress gave to then President George Bush to attack Iraq that he used.

How was the conections made from being elected to end the war in Iraq to maintaining then President George Bush' permission to start another war with Iran without the newly elected Democratic House of Representatives permission?
The only possible explanation is Nancy Pelosi put Israeli interests over American interests.
